Step 1: Course details
The course details section contains high level information about the course and its sequence within the overall program. All of the fields on this form are required.
Description of fields
| Year | The year of the course in the overall program. If the course is used in multiple programs, you will have to re-enter this information in the relevant program. At present, course information is not sharable between projects. |
| Semester | The semester in which the course is taught in the program. |
| Weeks | The duration of the course in weeks |
| Credit hours | Number of credit hours as specified in the course catalog. |
| Number of students to instructor | Ratio of students to instructor |
| Description |
The description of the course as it appears in the course calendar. Simple formatting is allowed. Note: the formatting characters will be translated when the page is rendered. |
Completing the step
This step is completed once the Create course demographics button is clicked. The course's status on the main page will now be set to step 1.
